Our vision is clear and precise: a strong social economy strengthens social cohesion and ecological balance in the city of Berlin. The social economy is a robust and recognized sector that pursues social and environmental objectives across nearly all industries in Berlin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our mission<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Social Economy Berlin is the platform for the social economy in Berlin. We organize events, facilitate networking, support the creation and growth of social enterprises, and provide comprehensive information on the city\u2019s social economy. In addition, we advocate for improved conditions for social enterprises and foster dialogue between policymakers, public administration, economic development agencies, and social economy organizations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Technologie-Netzwerk Berlin e.V. <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

TechNet is an intermediary organization based in Berlin that supports the social economy in Germany. For over 30 years, it has conducted research on local and social economies at both national and international levels, while developing strategies and management tools for social enterprises. TechNet has helped popularize the concept of the social economy in Germany and actively supports the creation and growth of social enterprises, including through initiatives like the Berlin Development Agency for Social Enterprises and Neighborhood Economy (BEST). The organization also offers sector-specific training and education and maintains a wide network of international partnerships, including RIPESS, CIRIEC, and EMES.\u2028<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Social Entrepreneurship Netzwerk Deutschland (SEND) e.V. <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Social Entrepreneurship Network Germany (SEND) is a registered association based in Berlin that represents the interests of social enterprises in Germany. Founded in 2017, it serves as the representative body and political voice for social entrepreneurs and social startups. The association provides networking opportunities for social enterprises, raises the sector\u2019s visibility, and advocates for their interests with policymakers. With over 600 members, SEND brings together social enterprises from across Germany, with the largest number of members based in Berlin.\u2028<\/p>\n\n\n\n
