Since 2022, this award has recognized companies whose business activities aim to create a socially responsible, sustainable, and future-ready Berlin. The award is organized by the Social Economy Berlin initiative and supported by the Berlin Senate Department for Economics, Energy, and Enterprises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>IIn the three award categories &#8211; <strong>People, Planet, and Transformation<\/strong>&#8211; three social enterprises per category were honored in November 2024 for having already demonstrated a positive impact in and around Berlin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first-place winners received a prize of <strong>\u20ac5,000<\/strong> each, the second-place winners <strong>\u20ac3,000<\/strong> each, and the third-place winners <strong>\u20ac2,000<\/strong> each. In addition, all nine companies received a one-year membership at Impact Hub Berlin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The awards went to companies that identify with the following concepts:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u201eImpact Economy\u201c<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201eSocial Entrepreneurship\u201c<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201eCollective Enterprises\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201eSocial and Solidarity Economy\u201c<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>It was important that the company, through its business activities, pursued purposes oriented toward the common good and thus acted as a driver of the social and ecological transformation of the economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-blue-color has-text-color has-link-color
