On October 15, 2026, Berlin’s social economy community will come together once again. Under the title “Unlock Potential! Die Soziale Ökonomie als Zukunftskraft,” we invite you to the Social Economy Berlin Fachtag 2026 at silent green Kulturquartier in Berlin-Wedding.
Berlin is home to more than 3,000 social enterprises, generating around €6 billion in economic output each year, according to the potential analysis commissioned by the Berlin Senate Department for Economic Affairs, Energy and Public Enterprises. These figures highlight the economic and social importance of the social economy in the city. At the conference, we will explore what this means for social enterprises themselves, for public administration and policymakers, and for collaboration with the traditional business sector.
The conference is aimed at Berlin-based social entrepreneurs as well as representatives from politics, public administration, business development, academia, and the traditional business sector. The programme offers a diverse range of sessions: eight workshops across two blocks will provide practical insights into key topics and current developments in Berlin’s social economy. The programme also includes a keynote, an evening panel discussion, and plenty of opportunities to network with people from business, academia, public administration, and politics.
